Where Taxfiler practices can move now

IRIS announced in February 2025 that Taxfiler would not be updated for the 2024/25 tax year and that support would end on 31 March 2025. Users had read-only access until 31 July 2025, and IRIS offered a move to IRIS Elements with a migration tool.

If your data is in IRIS Elements now

Your clients' tax and accounts history moved with the IRIS migration tool. Moving on from there to Accountin needs each client's latest trial balance, which becomes their opening position.

If you kept exports from Taxfiler

Trial balances and client details exported before July 2025 are enough to set clients up in Accountin, with last year's figures as comparatives.
